How To Make Water Chestnut Fried Rice

A flavorful and crunchy combination of water chestnuts, veggies and rice, perfect for a quick and easy meal.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 cup chopped water chestnuts
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 cup mixed veggies (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a wok or large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

  2. Add onion and garlic and stir-fry until onion becomes translucent.

  3. Add mixed veggies and cook for 2-3 minutes until they start to become tender.

  4. Add cooked rice and chopped water chestnuts.

  5. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper and stir-fry everything together until well-combined and heated through.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
