Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can water chestnuts, drained
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Add onion, bell peppers, and garlic. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

  3. Add water chestnuts and continue to stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

  4. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, and 1/2 cup water.

  5. Pour the sauce into the wok and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.

  6. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Serve hot with rice.
