Ingredients

  • 1 large swede, peeled and cubed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the cubed swede and cook until tender, about 20 minutes.

  2. Drain the swede and return it to the pot. Add the butter and milk.

  3. Use a potato masher or immersion blender to mash the swede until smooth and creamy.

  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste and stir well.

  5. Serve hot as a delicious side dish.
