How To Make Water Chestnut and Mushroom Stir-Fry

A crunchy and flavorful stir-fry with a blend of water chestnuts and mushrooms.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup sliced water chestnuts
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a wok or pan.

  2. Add onions and garlic, sauté until fragrant.

  3. Add green pepper, mushrooms, and water chestnuts, sauté for 5 minutes.

  4. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sugar, and cornstarch.

  5. Pour the sauce mixture into the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  6. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
