How To Make Anaheim Pepper Salsa Recipe

A tangy and spicy salsa made with Anaheim peppers.

Ingredients

  • 4 Anaheim peppers, roasted and diced
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Roast Anaheim peppers over an open flame or in the oven until the skin is charred and bubbled.

  2. Place the roasted peppers in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap for 10 minutes to steam. Then remove the skin, ribs, and seeds.

  3. Dice the peppers and add to a mixing bowl along with diced tomatoes, diced onion, minced garlic, diced jalapeño pepper, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt to taste.

  4. Mix everything together and serve with tortilla chips.
