How To Make Banana Pepper Relish

A tangy and spicy relish made with sweet banana peppers.

Ingredients

  • 8 sweet banana peppers, seeded and chopped
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp celery seeds
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.

  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 30-45 minutes, until mixture has thickened and peppers are soft.

  3. Allow to cool, then store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
