Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of asparagus
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup flaked almonds
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a griddle pan over medium heat.

  2. Trim the woody ends of the asparagus.

  3. Drizzle the asparagus with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  4. Place the asparagus on the griddle pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until tender and slightly charred.

  5. In a small pan, toast the flaked almonds until golden brown.

  6. Remove the asparagus from the griddle pan and transfer to a serving plate.

  7. Melt the butter in the same pan used to toast the almonds, and drizzle it over the asparagus.

  8. Sprinkle the toasted almonds on top.

  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!
