  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced almonds and cook until golden brown, stirring frequently.

  3. Add the cooked green beans to the skillet and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat the beans evenly.

  4. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beans are heated through and well-coated in the butter and seasonings.

  5. Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice. Toss to combine before serving.
