  • 8slicesbaconcoarsely chopped
  • 1white onionfinely diced
  • 1headgreen cabbagecored and cut into 1 inch pieces

  • salt and pepperto taste
  • 1tbspparsleychopped

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pan over medium high heat. Add the bacon and cook until browned, 4 to 5 minutes.

  2. Add the onions to the pan and cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until they are translucent.

  3. Add the cabbage, sugar, salt, and pepper.

  4. Cook, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is wilted. You may need to add a bit of water to help the cabbage along.

  5. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
