
How To Make Fried Brussels Sprouts
Skillet-fried in bacon grease, these brussels sprouts are cooked with bacon and onion for perfectly browned and tender vegetables.

Ingredients
- 6bacon slices,cut into bite-size pieces
- ½onion,diced
- 12ozfresh brussels sprouts,(1 package), trimmed, sliced
- 2tbspwhite sugar,or to taste
- salt and ground black pepper,to taste
Instructions

Place the bacon pieces in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, for about 10 minutes, until evenly browned. Drain on paper towels, leaving grease in the skillet.

Cook the onion in the bacon grease in the skillet for about 5 minutes until translucent. Add the Brussels sprouts and toss to coat in the bacon grease.

Cook and stir for about 5 minutes until browned and tender. Stir in the sugar, salt, and black pepper, then sprinkle in bacon pieces.
