  • 4 medium zucchini, sliced lengthwise
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil, for garnish


  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and minced garlic.

  3. Brush both sides of the zucchini slices with the balsamic mixture.

  4. Season the zucchini with salt and pepper.

  5. Place the zucchini slices on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until tender.

  6. Remove from grill and garnish with fresh basil.

  7. Serve hot as a side dish.
