How To Make Tandoori Roast Chicken
A flavorful and juicy chicken dish marinated in traditional Tandoori spices and roasted to perfection.

Ingredients
- 4 chicken leg quarters
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 3 tablespoons Tandoori masala
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions

Make 2-3 deep cuts on each chicken leg quarter.

In a large bowl, combine yogurt, Tandoori masala, lemon juice, vegetable oil, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, paprika, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add chicken leg quarters to the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for better flavor.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Place the marinated chicken on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil.

Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is charred in some places.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves and serve hot with lemon wedges.
