  • 1 ripe avocado, mashed
  • 1/2 cup hummus

  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices of bread
  • Optional toppings: sliced tomatoes, cucumber, red onion

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the mashed avocado, hummus, cilantro, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  2. Toast the bread slices if desired.

  3. Spread the avocado and hummus mixture evenly onto each slice of bread.

  4. Top with optional toppings like sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.
