How To Make Mulled Mead

A warm and flavorful drink made with mead, spices, and citrus fruits. Perfect for cozy nights by the fire.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of mead
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of honey

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the mead over medium heat until warm.

  2. Add the cinnamon stick, cloves, orange slices, lemon slices, and honey to the pot.

  3. Stir well and bring to a simmer.

  4. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

  5. Remove from heat and strain the mixture to remove the spices and fruit slices.

  6. Serve the mulled mead hot in mugs.

  7. Garnish with additional citrus slices, if desired.
