How To Make Strawberry Jam

A sweet and fruity homemade jam made with fresh strawberries.

  • 1 kg fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
  • 800 grams granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice


  1. In a large pot, combine the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Let it sit for 15 minutes to allow the strawberries to release their juices.

  2. Place the pot over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cook for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the jam has thickened.

  3. Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes. Transfer the jam into clean jars and seal them tightly.

  4. Store the jam in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
