How To Make Simple Teriyaki Sauce
A sweet and savory soy sauce-based sauce perfect for dipping and marinating.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp minced ginger
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup cold water
Instructions

In a saucepan, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.

Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and cold water.

Pour cornstarch mixture into soy sauce mixture, whisking constantly.

Reduce heat and let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes or until it thickens to desired consistency.
