How To Make Roast Chestnuts Recipe

  • 1 pound of chestnuts
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Using a sharp knife, make a small incision on the flat side of each chestnut.

  3. Place the chestnuts on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and toss to coat.

  4. Roast the chestnuts in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the shells are browned and the insides are tender.

  5. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.

  6. Peel the shells off the chestnuts, and enjoy!
