How To Make Puff Pastry

This is a delicious and flaky pastry that is perfect for both sweet and savory recipes.

  • 1 sheet of pre-made puff pastry
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface to smooth out any creases.

  3. Cut the pastry into desired shapes or sizes.

  4. Place the pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  5. Brush the beaten egg on top of the pastry to give it a nice golden color while baking.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed up and golden brown.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
