How To Make Low-Carb Mashed Cauliflower Recipe

  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp of butter
  • 1/4 cup of heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh chives, chopped (optional)


  1. Cut the cauliflower into florets and steam until fork-tender, about 10-12 minutes.

  2. In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.

  3. Add the steamed cauliflower to the pan and mash with a potato masher or blend with an immersion blender until smooth.

  4. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until heated through.

  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh chives if desired.
