How To Make Low Carb Lentil Soup Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 cups of dried brown lentils
- 4 cups of chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 stalks of celery, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 tsp of cumin
- 1/2 tsp of paprika
- 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Rinse lentils and set aside.

Heat oil in a pot, sauté onion, celery, and carrots until tender.

Add garlic, cumin, paprika, and cayenne pepper, stir for a minute.

Pour broth and lentils in the pot, bring to a boil.

Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 hour until lentils are soft.

Season with salt and pepper.
