How To Make Broiled Tilapia with Coconut Curry Sauce
You’ll definitely love this broiled tilapia with a flavorful and well-spiced coconut curry sauce, perfect to be served for dinner over rice!

Ingredients
- 1tspdark sesame oil,divided
- 1tbspfresh ginger,minced, peeled
- 4clovesgarlic,minced
- 1cupred bell pepper,finely chopped
- 1cupscallions,chopped
- 1tspcurry powder
- 2tspred curry paste
- ½tspcumin,ground
- 4tsplow-sodium soy sauce,tamari for gluten-free
- 1tbspbrown sugar
- 2tspAsian fish sauce
- 14ozlight coconut milk,(1 can)
- ¼cupfresh cilantro,chopped
- 6tilapia fillets,(6 oz)
- salt
- cooking spray
- lime wedges,for serving
Instructions

Preheat the broiler.

Heat ½ teaspoon of oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the ginger, garlic, pepper, and scallions, and cook for 1 minute.

Stir in the curry powder, curry paste, and cumin, and cook for 1 minute.

Add the soy sauce, sugar, Asian fish sauce, and coconut milk. Bring to a simmer (do not boil).

Remove from heat, and stir in cilantro or basil if using.

Brush fish with ½ teaspoon of oil, then sprinkle with ¼ teaspoon of salt. Place the fish on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.

Broil for 7 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.

Serve fish with sauce, rice, and lime wedges.
