How To Make Lemonade Scones
Delicious scones made with lemonade for a tangy twist.

Ingredients
- 2 cups self-raising flour
- 1/2 cup lemonade
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Zest of 1 lemon
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

In a large bowl, sift the flour and sugar together.

Add the lemon zest, lemonade, cream, and melted butter.

Stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead a few times to bring it together.

Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick round and cut into 4 equal wedges.

Place the scones onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serve warm with butter, jam, or cream.
