How To Make Lemon Herb Roasted Chicken
Tender and flavorful chicken infused with the tangy taste of lemon and aromatic herbs.

Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken (about 4 pounds)
- 2 lemons, sliced
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.

In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.

Rub the chicken all over with the garlic and herb mixture.

Place the lemon slices inside the chicken cavity.

Tie the chicken legs together with kitchen twine.

Place the chicken on a roasting pan, breast-side up.

Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for about 1 hour 30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) when tested with a meat thermometer.

Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
