How To Make Lemon & Ginger Shortbread
A mouth-watering shortbread infused with zesty lemon and warming ginger.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp ground ginger
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the flour, lemon zest, and ground ginger. Mix until well combined.

Roll the dough into a cylinder shape and wrap it in plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Slice the chilled dough into 1/4 inch thick rounds. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.

Allow the shortbread to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
