How To Make Lavender Shortbread Cookies Recipe
Delicious and delicate shortbread cookies with a floral touch of lavender.

Ingredients
- 1 cup of butter, softened
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 2 cups of all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons of dried lavender flowers
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

Add the flour, lavender flowers, and salt. Mix until well combined.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to a 1/4 inch thickness. Cut the dough into desired shapes.

Place the cookies onto an ungreased baking sheet and bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until lightly golden brown.

Remove the cookies from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
