How To Make Jammy Biscuits

These sweet and gooey biscuits are perfect for a quick and delicious snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup jam (any flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Gradually add in the flour, mixing until a dough forms.

  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.

  5. Use a cookie cutter to cut out biscuit shapes and place them onto the prepared baking sheet.

  6. Make a small thumbprint in the center of each biscuit and fill it with a teaspoon of jam.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.

  8. Allow the biscuits to cool on a wire rack before serving.
