How To Make Easy Crêpes Recipe

These crêpes are simple yet delicious, perfect for a quick breakfast or dessert.

Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 20 minutes
Total: 30 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Cooking spray or additional butter, for greasing the pan

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.

  2. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the milk, eggs, and melted butter.

  3. Whisk until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.

  4. Heat a non-stick skillet or crêpe pan over medium heat. Lightly coat the pan with cooking spray or butter.

  5. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the center of the pan, then quickly tilt and rotate the pan to spread the batter into a thin, even layer.

  6. Cook the crêpe for about 2 minutes, until the edges start to lift away from the pan and the bottom is golden brown.

  7. Flip the crêpe using a spatula or by carefully lifting the edges with your fingers. Cook for another 1-2 minutes on the second side.

  8. Transfer the cooked crêpe to a plate and cover to keep warm. Repeat with the remaining batter, greasing the pan as needed.

  9. Serve the crêpes warm with your favorite fillings and toppings, such as Nutella, fresh berries, whipped cream, or maple syrup.
