How To Make Easy Cheese & Onion Pie

  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 pre-made pie crust


  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook until they become soft and translucent.

  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Place the pre-made pie crust in a pie dish and spread the cooked onions evenly over the crust.

  5. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese over the onions.

  6. Pour the egg mixture over the cheese and onions, ensuring it is evenly distributed.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is set.

  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
