How To Make Damson Gin
A delicious and refreshing gin drink infused with the rich flavor of damson plums.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 500g damson plums
- 250g granulated sugar
- 750ml gin
Instructions

Wash and dry the damson plums. Remove any stones or stems.

Place the plums in a sterilized glass jar or bottle.

Add the sugar to the jar and stir to coat the plums.

Pour the gin into the jar, making sure all the plums are submerged.

Seal the jar tightly and shake gently to mix.

Store the jar in a cool, dark place for at least 6 months, shaking occasionally to infuse the flavors.

After 6 months, strain the gin through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the plum solids.

Bottle the damson gin and enjoy it chilled or mixed into cocktails.
