How To Make Blackberry & Apple Pie
A delicious dessert pie filled with juicy blackberries and apples, wrapped in a flaky pastry crust.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 cups blackberries
- 2 apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp butter, diced
- 1 package of pie crust
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine blackberries, apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Mix well.

Roll out one pie crust and place it in a pie dish.

Pour the blackberry and apple filling into the pie crust.

Dot the top of the filling with diced butter.

Roll out the second pie crust and place it on top of the filling. Seal the edges and crimp as desired.

Make a few slits on the top crust to allow steam to escape during baking.

Place the pie on a baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
