How To Make Beetroot Hummus

A vibrant and flavorful dip made with roasted beets, creamy chickpeas, and fragrant spices.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 medium-sized beets, roasted and peeled
  • 1 can (15 oz) of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of tahini
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Extra virgin olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, add the roasted beets, chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, cumin, salt, and pepper.

  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides if needed.

  3. Adjust the seasonings according to your taste.

  4. Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl and drizzle with olive oil.

  5. Serve with pita bread, chips, or fresh vegetables.
