How To Make BBQ Pulled Pork

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork shoulder or pork butt, boneless
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to create a dry rub.

  2. Rub the dry rub all over the pork shoulder, making sure to cover it completely.

  3. Preheat your grill to a temperature of 225°F (107°C).

  4. Place the seasoned pork shoulder on the grill, close the lid, and let it cook for 8 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F (90°C).

  5. Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for 15 minutes.

  6. Using two forks, shred the pork into small pieces.

  7. In a large bowl, mix the shredded pork with the BBQ sauce until evenly coated.

  8. Serve the BBQ pulled pork on hamburger buns and enjoy!
