How To Make Apple Turnovers
This flaky pastry dessert is filled with sweet apple filling and is perfect for a delightful treat.

Ingredients
- 2 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 package puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten
- Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a bowl, combine the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix well.

Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the apple mixture and cook for 5-6 minutes until the apples are tender.

Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 4 equal squares.

Place a spoonful of the apple mixture onto each square and fold it diagonally to form a triangle. Press the edges with a fork to seal.

Brush the turnovers with beaten egg.

Place the turnovers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and allow them to cool slightly.

Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
