How To Make Apple & Blackberry Crumble
A delicious dessert made with apples and blackberries, topped with a crispy crumble layer.

Ingredients
- 4 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1 cup blackberries
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter, cold and cubed
- Vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples and blackberries.

In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

Add the cold cubed butter to the flour mixture, and use your fingers to rub it in until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Spread the fruit mixture evenly in a baking dish.

Sprinkle the crumble mixture on top of the fruit, covering it completely.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.

Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
