Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions

In a shallow dish, mix cornstarch with salt and pepper. Coat chicken pieces in cornstarch mixture.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside.

In a separate pan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, minced ginger, and sesame oil. Cook over medium heat until sauce thickens.

Add fried chicken to the pan with the sauce. Stir to coat the chicken evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Serve the Mandarin Orange Chicken over steamed rice or noodles. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
