Cooking: 20 minutes
Total: 35 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of deer meat, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

  1. In a bowl, marinate the deer meat with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it sit for 10 minutes.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  3. Add the marinated deer meat and stir fry for 4-5 minutes, or until browned on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  5. Return the cooked deer meat back to the skillet and toss everything together. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Serve the venison stir fry over cooked rice and garnish with sliced green onions.
