Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions and set aside.

  3. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat and sauté the onions and garlic until they become translucent.

  4. Add the sliced pork and cook until browned on all sides.

  5. Add the mushrooms and cook for another 2 minutes.

  6. Stir in the frozen peas, chicken broth, milk, dried thyme, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.

  7. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and mix well to combine with the sauce and ingredients.

  8. Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.

  9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
