Delicious French loaf stuffed with a wonderful cheese and sausage mixture!

How To Make Stuffed Bread

A delicious take on the classic submarine sandwich wherein this recipe it has all the basic components of a good sandwich – and more! A pound of juicy sausage accompanied by green peppers with mixture of cheeses and sour cream to balance everything out.

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1 small green peppers (plus juice,chopped)
  • 1 lb sausage
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1 large taco chips
  1. Cut out French bread leaving ends and a bottom.
  2. Scoop out the bread.
  3. Brown sausage and drain the grease.
  4. Chop cheddar cheese and cram cheese into small blocks.
  5. Add to sausage and melt.
  6. Add sour cream and peppers.
  7. Spoon mixed ingredients into French bread.
  8. Wrap whole loaf in foil (we used two pieces).

  9. Cook for 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
