Bread Machine Cranberry Bread Recipe

How To Make Bread Machine Cranberry Bread

This sweet and tangy bread is perfect for breakfast or afternoon tea.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, water, and sugar. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Add flour, yeast, salt, and butter to the bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
  3. Add the cooled cranberry mixture, milk, and beaten egg to the pan.
  4. Select the basic or sweet bread cycle and start the machine.
  5. Once the bread is done, remove it from the pan and let cool on a wire rack.
