How To Make Snickerdoodle Bread

Enjoy a yeast-free snack with this snickerdoodle bread that’s rich in warm flavors from the cinnamon chips up to the sweet cinnamon-sugar topping.

  • 1cupbutter,softened
  • 2cupssugar
  • ½tspsalt
  • 2tspcinnamon
  • 3eggs
  • 1tspvanilla
  • ¾cupsour cream
  • cupsflour
  • 2tspbaking powder
  • 1pkgHershey’s cinnamon chips

For Cinnamon-Sugar:

  • 3tbspsugar
  • 3tbspcinnamon


  1. Cream butter, sugar, salt and cinnamon until fluffy. Add eggs and mix well. Add vanilla and sour cream and mix well.

  2. Mix flour and baking powder in a separate bowl. Add to wet ingredients and mix until all combined. Add cinnamon chips and stir into batter. Set aside.

  3. Spoon batter into 4 mini loaf pans until about ⅔ full.


  1. Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and sprinkle over the batter in each loaf pan.

  2. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool before removing from pan.

  3. Serve and enjoy.
