How To Make Pizza Dip Stuffed Baguette

This warm stuffed baguette loaded with pizza flavors makes the perfect appetizer! Bake up a scrumptious loaf of this in just 30 minutes.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 3ozpepperoni,or salami, roughly chopped
  • ¼cuponion,or white part of scallions, finely chopped
  • ¼cupred bell peppers,finely chopped
  • 1French baguette,long
  • ¾cuppizza sauce,of choice
  • ¾cupmozzarella cheese

For Cream Cheese Filing:

  • 6ozcream cheese,softened
  • ¼cupsour cream
  • ¾cupcheddar cheese,grated

Instructions

  1. Heat a non stick skillet over high heat.

  2. Add half of the pepperoni and onion into the skillet, then cook for 2 minutes.

  3. Add the red bell peppers, then cook for a further 1 minute. Remove onto a plate.

  4. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  5. Mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, and cheddar cheese in a bowl. Set aside.

  6. Use a knife to cut a deep V into the baguette, then pick out the bread to create a deep crevice.

  7. Spread the pizza sauce into the crevice.

  8. Top with the cooked pepperoni, onion and bell peppers.

  9. Top with the cream cheese filling, mozzarella cheese, and uncooked pepperoni.

  10. Wrap the baguette with foil, then bake for 15 minutes.

  11. Unwrap the foil, then bake the bread for a further 5 minutes.

  12. Cut into thick slices, serve, and enjoy!
