How To Make Petite Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Loaves
Turn a classic bread into a healthier treat with this wonderfully moist whole wheat banana bread, loaded with sweet chocolate chips.

Ingredients
- 3medium bananas,ripe
- ⅓cupunsweetened apple sauce
- 1¼cupswhite whole wheat flour
- ¾tspbaking soda
- ¼tspsalt
- 2tbspbutter,softened
- ⅓cupbrown sugar
- 2large egg whites
- ½tspvanilla extract
- 1½ozmini chocolate chips
- Smart Balance baking spray
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Spray a non-stick loaf pan with cooking spray.

Mash the bananas in a bowl, then set aside.

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt with a wire whisk. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar with an electric mixer.

Add the egg whites, bananas, apple sauce, and vanilla, then beat at medium speed until thick. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.

Add the flour mixture, then blend at low speed until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips, and do not over mix.

Pour the batter into muffin pan, then bake on the center rack for about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
