How To Make Overnight Caramel French Toast
Ingredients
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tbsp light corn syrup
- 12 slices wheat bread
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon, divided
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions

Lightly grease a 13x9x2" baking dish and set it aside.

In a pan, bring the brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup to a boil. Afterward, remove it from heat and pour the mixture into the greased baking dish.

Top the mixture with 6 slices of bread and sprinkle it with sugar and 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon. After that, top it once more with the remaining bread.

In a bowl, beat the eggs, milk, vanilla, and remaining cinnamon. Pour the mixture over the bread then cover it and refrigerate overnight.

Once the mixture has cooled, bake it in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 to 35 minutes. Once it's done baking, serve and enjoy!
