How To Make Homemade Garlic Bread

Make garlic bread at home with this easy recipe. It takes less than 30 minutes and the bread is full of garlic, parmesan, and butter flavors.

  • 1loaffrench bread
  • ½cupsalted butter,softened
  • ½tspgarlic powder
  • 3clovesgarlic,minced
  • 1tspItalian seasoning
  • ½cupparmesan cheese,shredded
  • fresh parsley,shredded, for garnish


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Cut French bread loaf lengthwise and place on top of a baking sheet.

  2. In a small bowl combine softened butter, garlic powder, minced garlic, Italian seasoning and shredded cheese. Spread evenly on each side of the garlic bread.

  3. Bake in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes until butter is melted and bubbly. If desired, broil the top for 1 to 2 minutes at the end to give it a more crisp top.

  4. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired.
