How To Make Eggnog Quick Bread with an Eggnog Glaze
Try this moist eggnog quickbread for the perfect pair to your hot chocolate! Its made of warm spices and dairy eggnog then topped with a rich glaze.
In a large mixing bowl, add the eggs and beat. Add the sugar, eggnog, melted margarine, rum extract, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
Add the flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Stir until moist.
Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 to 50 minutes until lightly brown and toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool for about 10 minutes and remove from pan.
Whisk together the powdered sugar and eggnog. Add additional eggnog if preferred. Pour the glaze over the top of the bread.
Serve and enjoy.
