How To Make Easy Cornbread

  • 1cupflour
  • 1cupcornmeal
  • ¼cupsugar
  • 4tspbaking powder
  • ½tspsalt
  • 2eggs
  • 1cupbuttermilk
  • cupbutter,melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Whisk together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together egg, buttermilk, and melted butter.

  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients just until mixed. 

  5. Spread into a greased 8×8-inch pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
