Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 20 minutes
Total: 30 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 packet (2 ¼ teaspoons) of instant yeast
  • 1 ¼ cups of warm water
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the flour, sugar, and yeast.

  2. Add the warm water, salt, and vegetable oil to the bag.

  3. Seal the bag and knead the mixture until well combined and a dough forms, about 5-7 minutes.

  4. Let the dough rest in the bag for 10 minutes.

  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  6. Remove the dough from the bag and place it onto a lightly floured surface.

  7. Knead the dough for an additional 2-3 minutes.

  8. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it into a greased loaf pan.

  9. Cover the loaf pan with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise for 20 minutes.

  10. Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until it’s golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

  11. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
