Banana Bread French Toast Recipe

How To Make Banana Bread French Toast

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 8slicesbread
  • 1largebanana
  • 1largeegg
  • ½cupmilk
  • 1tbspgranulated sweetener
  • 1tspcinnamonground
  • 2tsppure vanilla extract

For Cream Cheese Glaze:

  • ½cupcream cheese
  • ¼cupGreek yogurt
  • cupconfectioner’s sugar
  • banana slices and pecansto serve

Instructions

  1. Mash the banana with a fork, then whisk the egg, milk, sweetener/sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla into it to combine really well.

  2. Coat bread evenly in the egg wash.

  3. Heat a pan with butter or cooking oil spray; fry soaked bread on low heat on both sides until golden and browned, flipping gently to turn.

  4. Serve with the cream cheese glaze, banana slices and pecans.

For Cream Cheese Glaze:

  1. Combine all of the glaze ingredients together in a bowl; use a hand beater to whip until smooth.
