How To Make Italian Guacamole
This 5-minute recipe mashes the flavors of Roma tomatoes, jalapeños, lime juice, and basil to give an Italian twist to the traditional guacamole.

- 3ripe avocados,peeled and pitted
- 2large garlic cloves,peeled and minced
- 1jalapeño,stem and seeds removed, finely chopped
- 1Roma tomato,cored and finely chopped or 3 tbsp chopped sun-dried tomatoes
- ½cupred onion,finely chopped
- 1tbspfresh lemon or lime juice
- ¼cupfresh basil leaves,finely chopped
- ½tspcoarse sea salt
- 1pinchcoarse black pepper

Mash together all ingredients together with a fork until combined. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.

Serve immediately; or cover the bowl with plastic wrap so that the plastic is touching the entire top layer of the guacamole and refrigerate.
