How To Make Tomato Salad with Mozzarella

This tomato salad is the most delicious summer salad! It’s made with ripe tomatoes and mozzarella that’s all tossed with a zesty and flavorful dressing.

Ingredients

  • 5cupstomatoes,cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1cupbocconcini mozzarella balls
  • ¼cupred onion,thinly sliced
  • cupsmall basil leaves
  • ¼cupolive oil
  • tbspred wine vinegar
  • ¼tspsugar
  • ¼tspdried oregano,dried
  • ¼tspgarlic,fresh, minced
  • salt and pepper,to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the tomatoes, mozzarella balls, red onion, and basil in a large bowl.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, sugar, oregano, garlic, and salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Pour the dressing over the tomato mixture, then gently toss to coat evenly.

  4. Serve immediately, and enjoy!
